Objectives of the Personal Data Charter

The Site Publisher is committed to protect the privacy of users while respecting the regulations in this regard. Under this regulation, the Site Publisher is setting up a “Personal Data Charter.”

This “Personal Data Charter” is part of the “General Conditions of Use of the Site and aims to inform users of the policy which compels the Site Publisher to meet their Personal Data. It describes the procedures for collecting, recording and processing the personal datas concerning users as individuals, obtained during the consultation or registration on the Site.

Processing of Personal Datas

In general, the Site Publisher is committed to make utmost efforts to ensure that Personal Informations about You: Are obtained and processed fairly and lawfully ; Are collected for specified and legitimate purposes and are used in accordance with those purposes ; Are adequate, relevant and not excessive in relation to those purposes ; Benefits of a right to object that you can easily exercise ; Are accessible and have a right of correction or suppression following a request by post or electronically to the data cited above (your requests will be considered within a maximum period of one month) ; Are retained in accordance with the aims ; Are subject to precautions to ensure their security and to prevent that they can be damaged, altered, destroyed or disclosed to unauthorized third parties.

Personal Datas that will be disclosed to you as part of the exercise of your right of access will be disclosed in a personal and confidential capacity. In this capacity, so that your application for access is taken into account, you must send the necessary elements for your identification  – ie, a certificate written on honor by which you certify to be the owner of the said Personal Datas, and a photocopy of a proof of your identity.

Collection and use of the Personal Datas

When you visit the Site, you are likely to provide the Site Publisher a number of Personal Datas about You used to respond to your informations requests and to better understand your expectations, as to take advantage of services offered through the Site.

4.1

Registration information

In accordance with the regulations, the mandatory Personal Datas needed by the Site Publisher, and possibly the Group Companies and / or their partners to process registrations, are indicated by asterisks in the forms of the Site.
Other Personal Informations requested, for which the response is optional, are intended to better know you and to improve services available to You, while ensuring the security of such Personal Datas.
With your permission, the Site’s Society Editor may have to disclose the Personal Informations it holds about you to other Group companies or to its partners.
Unless you object, under the conditions defined in this Personal Data’s Charter’s 6th Article “Right to object”, if you are a customer of Products or Services of the Site Publisher, the Publisher of the Site may contact you by post and / or email, especially in the form of a newsletter (read ” Newsletter ” below), informations which will allow you to learn more about the products or services of the Site Publisher, and with your agreement, the Products or Services of the Group Companies (periodic newsletters).
For more details on how to unsubscribe from the newsletter, you are prompted to refer to the article “Right to object” in the present Charter of Personal Data.

4.2

Cookies

When you visit, the Site Publisher may place a “cookie” on your computer. A “cookie” allows to record informations relating to your browsing on the Site ( pages accessed, date and time of visit, etc..) that the Site Publisher can read during your next visit ; but it does not allow the Site Publisher to identify you directly. Thus, the informations you provide to the Site Publisher by completing a questionnaire will be requested to you again.

Disclosure of Personal informations

In no case, the Site Publisher will share or disclose your Personal Datas, except as follows:
when you gave to the Site Publisher your prior agreement (eg for direct marketing);
when the Site Publisher’s Company is required to share Personal Datas with suppliers, service and in particular technical providers: to provide you the service or information you’ve requested (storage of personal datas on our server hosted by our internet service provider)
when the Site Publisher is compelled by a judicial authority or by law;
to share with you offers or informations about new products and services, unless you do not want it ;
to optimize the operation and effectiveness of the site. To this end, an access logging is performed for statistical purposes to know the use of the Site, the most visited pages or to ventilate the Users by original domains. Datas stored in the log can not be used in any way for your personal identification by your full name or email address.

Right to object

Under current regulations, You have a right to object that can be exercised at any time by contacting the person responsible for processing your Datas, whose coordinates are specified in section “Responsible of the data process” of this “Personal Data’s Charter. “

6.1

Newsletter

To unsubscribe from the newsletter, the right of opposition may also be exercised by clicking the link at the bottom of the newsletter: “If you no longer wish to receive the newsletter, click here. NB: these requests are taken into account if a message is sent to you to confirm them. If this is not the case, send an e- mail to the following address: y.gros@binaryconcept.fr specifying the e-mail to unsubscribe. ”
This request is handled automatically by a robot and a mail will be sent to You to signal the address which has been unsubscribed.
If You expressed your refusal to receive Newsletters and although you are a client of the Site Publisher, you will no longer receive Newsletter unless You  request it. As Newsletters management is independent from the Group Companies, You will have to express your refusal to each other Group Company if you no longer wish to receive Newsletters or equivalent of other Group Companies.

Cookies

You can oppose the registration of “cookies” on your computer by setting your browser as follows: If you browse the Internet using Internet Explorer 3 or 4 (Microsoft): Click display , options ,advanced . Among the different warnings you can activate, the fourth is entitled Warn before accepting cookies and, only on Internet Explorer 4, the fifth is called always refuse cookies . If you browse the Internet with Navigator Gold 3 (Netscape): Click options , network preferences , protocols . Among the different warnings you can activate, the first is entitled Warn before accepting a cookie . You will be warned (e) upon the arrival of a ” cookie “and you can then object to being recorded by your browser. If you browse the Internet using Mozilla Firefox: Click on “Tools”, “option”, “privacy”, “cookies” and uncheck “Allow sites to set cookies”.

Right to access, modify or delete your Personal Datas

The Site Publisher informs you that you have a general right of access, correction and deletion of all Personal Datas about you that were collected under your registration or consulting services or informations from the Site Publisher. As such, you can contact at any time the person responsible for the management of your Personal Datas, whose coordinates are specified in section “Responsible of the data process” of this “Personal Data’s Charter.”

Retention of Personal Data

The Publishing Company Site makes every effort to process your Personal Datas in accordance with the intended purpose. As such, the Site Publisher specifies a shelf life depending on the nature of the personal datas collected and the purpose of their collection.

8.1

Registration information

If there is no update of your datas from You, your Personal Datas will be automatically deleted from the database of the Site Publisher 6 months after their last update, or if no update were performed, 6 months from your registration.
For Personal Datas collected through the application forms, it is stated that Personal Datas will be manually or automatically deleted six months from your registration.
Do not hesitate to re-register past the deadline to be assured that the Site Publisher knows your profile in case of new offers.

8.2

Cookies

The shelf life of the informations stored in the cookies in your computer is 1 month.

Security

The Site Publisher makes its best efforts to protect your Personal Datas against all forms of damage, loss, misuse, intrusion, disclosure, alteration or destruction.
Employees of the Site Publisher which, because of their function, would have access to your Personal Datas will undertake the utmost confidentiality in this regard.
